Chanda Khanna, designer and creative director of Scala is a Los Angeles based fashion designer. She is originally from the UK, where she studied fashion and textile design. She gained design experience in London, Paris, and Milan before moving to the USA.
In Los Angeles, she worked as the head dress designer for top brands Rampage and XOXO during the height of their success. Her creations were regularly featured on movies and tv shows such as Beverly Hills 90210. Since then she established an on-going contemporary blouse brand, distributed exclusively by Anthropologie.
In 2017 she acquired a partnership in Scala and quickly began to revive and update this long-standing brand. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her family and very much enjoys music, art and traveling.
